Cookie and browser storage policy

Every item this website stores in your browser, named individually, with what it is for and how long it lasts. It is a short list.

Last reviewed 26 August 2026. This document is maintained by Alavuden Kiinteistö- ja Tilitoimisto Oy and applies to alavudenkiinteistojatilitoimisto.com.

1The short version

This website sets no cookies. Not one — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for sessions. It also loads nothing from any third party: no web fonts, no tag manager, no maps, no embedded video, no social buttons, no advertising pixel. Every byte the page requests comes from alavudenkiinteistojatilitoimisto.com.

You do not have to take that on trust. Open your browser’s developer tools, look at the Network tab and reload this page: every request should be to this domain. That is the reason this site uses your operating system’s own fonts instead of a font service — the claim has to survive the check.

2What is stored, item by item

NameKindWhat it is forLifetime
akt-consentLocal storageRecords the answer you gave the consent banner, so you are not asked again on every page. It holds the answer itself, the wording version it applied to, and the date. It contains no identifier and nothing that could identify you.Until you clear it, or until the banner wording changes.
form tokenHeld in memory, in the pageA single-use value the enquiry and contact forms send back with a submission, so that another website cannot submit the form on your behalf. It is never written to disk and disappears when you close the tab.The lifetime of the page, at most one hour.

That is the complete list. Under section 205 of the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014), which implements the ePrivacy Directive, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested does not require consent — the form token is in that category. We ask about the rest anyway.

3Why there is a banner at all

Because the position may change. This firm may add measurement, and may run advertising with a Microsoft Advertising UET tag. If either happens, the tag will load only for visitors who have switched the corresponding category on, and this page will list the tag by name, with its purpose and lifetime, before it goes live.

The technical machinery for that is already built and tested. Microsoft Consent Mode v2 defaults are sent as denied before anything else runs, and are only updated when you make a choice. As of 26 August 2026 there is no advertising tag configured at all, so the defaults are all there is.

4The categories in the banner

  • Strictly necessarycannot be switched offOne entry in your browser storage that records the choice you make here, plus the short-lived token that protects the enquiry forms from cross-site submission. No cookie is set by this site today. This cannot be switched off, because switching it off would mean asking you again on every page.
  • MeasurementWould allow us to count page views to understand which pages are useful. Nothing of this kind is installed at the moment, so leaving this on changes nothing today.
  • AdvertisingWould allow the Microsoft Advertising UET tag to record that you arrived from an advertisement and later made an enquiry. No advertising tag is installed at the moment. If one is added, it will only ever run after you have switched this on.

5Changing your mind

Your current choice is not yet recorded. The button below deletes the stored answer and shows the banner again, so you can choose differently.

You can also clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, which has the same effect. Doing so breaks nothing: the site does not depend on stored data to work.

6Server logs

Separately from browser storage, the web server keeps short-lived technical logs — the path requested, the response status, the time, and a truncated IP address with its final octet discarded. These are for security and troubleshooting, are kept for up to 30 days, and are not used to build any profile. This is described in section 3 of the privacy policy.
