What the firm is
A limited company (Osakeyhtiö), entered in the Finnish Trade Register on 21 July 1978 and registered at Torikatu 1, 63300 Alavus, Finland. The Tax Administration records the main line of business as 69201 — accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy — and that is precisely the work described on this site. The company has been in the employer register since 1 October 1978, in the VAT register since 1 June 1994 and in the prepayment register since 1 March 1995.
The name says what the office has always been: a kiinteistö- ja tilitoimisto — a property and accounting office. In practice that means the client list has always included both ordinary trading companies and housing companies, and that the year-end for an asunto-osakeyhtiö is as familiar here as a limited company’s.
How the work is organised
Continuously, and to dates. Bookkeeping is kept current rather than reconstructed before a deadline, every period has an agreed close date, and every statutory filing is in the calendar from the day the engagement starts. When something in a client’s figures does not look right, the client hears about it in the month it happened, not in the following spring.
Scope is written down before work begins — what we do, what the client does, when each thing happens, and who to call. Anything outside that agreement is discussed and agreed before it is started, which is also the reason no fee appears anywhere on this website.
Claims policy
This site makes no claim it cannot evidence. That is a deliberate position, and it explains several conspicuous absences.
No client names, logos, testimonials or metrics
Confidentiality is the substance of this job, not a policy line. Published references would need each client's written permission and figures they could substantiate; we have neither, so there are none — not anonymised ones, not 'a manufacturing client in Ostrobothnia', none.
No named individuals or professional titles
No person is named and no professional designation (KLT, HT, KHT, PHT) is claimed on this site, because none has been checked against the register of the body that awards it. A title is either verifiable or it is decoration.
No audit services
We are registered for accounting, bookkeeping and tax consultancy. We are not a firm of authorised auditors. Where your company needs a statutory audit we prepare the material for it and work alongside the authorised auditor you appoint.
No outcome promised, ever
No guaranteed savings, no promised refunds, no assurance about how an assessment or an inspection will go. Those depend on the facts and on the authorities. Anyone promising them in advance is describing something they do not control.

Two dates in 1978, and they are not the same thing. Alavuden Kiinteistö- ja Tilitoimisto Oy was entered in the Trade Register on 21 July 1978, and the Business ID 0226379-5 was issued on 11 November 1978. The Tax Administration also records the company in the employer register from 1 October 1978. Public register data holds no bankruptcy, restructuring, liquidation or deletion notice for the company.
A second registered name. The register also records the auxiliary company name Tuvan Isännöinti, entered on 18 February 2022. It is disclosed here because anyone checking the register will see it and should not have to wonder what it is. The registered main line of business remains 69201, accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy.

Finnish osakeyhtiöt from a handful of people upwards, on monthly or quarterly VAT, wanting the ledger closed each period rather than each year.
Employers with payroll
Companies whose real pressure is the Incomes Register: an earnings payment report due within five days of every payday, whoever is on holiday.
Housing companies
Asunto-osakeyhtiöt needing charge ledgers, loan portions tracked per share group, renovation accounting and a financial statement the shareholders will read closely.
Companies changing accountant
Handovers where the previous books need reviewing before anything can be relied on — the part of the work most likely to be underestimated.
